On October 14th Olivia Turner spoke to a gathering of local pro-life people from various churches at the St. Joseph Family Festival. The luncheon followed the blessing of a new memorial shrine to the unborn at St. Joseph’s and a wonderful performance by the St. Joseph School Choir.
The lecture given by Mrs. Turner covered the truth that our society has been dreadfully wounded by decades of abortion. She discussed the sad reality that abortion has touched nearly every family and that it will take a long time to heal those wounded from the loss of so many innocent babies’ lives. She also reminded the audience of the critical nature of this year’s elections. It is essential that Virginia change the direction of our society by electing pro-life people committed to protecting every innocent life.
