Comments and Testimonies urgently needed as Virginia Pro-Abortion democrats vow to change the Virginia Constitution

The Privileges and Elections committee has posted their agenda for this Wednesday, Nov. 13th and it does include HJ1. They have opened a portal on the GA site to receive public comments pro or con.  It is essential that pro-life people put their comments in opposition to this radical amendment on this site. The committee staff will count those opposed and those in favor of HJ1. 

So far, the pro-abortion side has big numbers in favor of passage. We need to catch up. Please take a moment and go to the Virginia House of Delegates site  and make a comment opposing HJ1.

Your comment should be short and direct.  For example:

I oppose passage of HJ1 because this amendment will prevent the people of Virginia from passing any laws that will protect unborn children and could mean that current pro-life laws in Virginia will be overturned as they have been in other states that have passed similar amendments. I want Virginia to be able to pass protective laws that respect the lives of all Virginians.

It is also still important to communicate with your own Members of the GA, so, if you haven’t done it yet, please use the VSHL Action Center and do it today!  We want all members of the General Assembly to hear from us before this amendment makes its way to the full GA in January.
