2020 Alex & Geline Williams Oratory Contest Winner

Every year VSHL holds the Alex and Geline Williams Oratory contest for High School Juniors and Seniors. With the Coronavirus shutdown we were not able to hold our normal local and statewide in-person contests. So this year we had a virtual contest where students submitted their speech via video.

I am pleased to announce that the winner of this year’s contest is Juliette Orr.  Juliette was a Senior at Seton School in Manassas. You can watch her speech at this link.

Thank you to everyone who helped organize, judge and participate in this years very unique oratory contest. Hopefully, we next year we can go back to our traditional in-person approach.
