The General Assembly session will start on January 8th. Pro-abortion forces in charge of both the State Senate and House of Delegates. They plan to ram through the Extreme Abortion-until-Birth Amendment early in the session it is vital pro-lifers show up in force at the General Assembly.
We hope you will join us for our fourth annual Virginia Pro-Life Day on January 29, 2025 in Richmond! Meet with your legislators to advocate for pro-life causes.
Program for Jan 29, 2025 Pro-Life Advocacy Day
- 8:00 am – Doors Open (GRCC)
- 8:30 am – 9:00 am – Opening Programming (GRCC)
- 10:00 am – 11:00 am – Visits to legislators (GAB)
- Noon – Choice of activity: Groups visiting galleries (GAB) or Mass at St. Peter’s Parish
- After adjournment of floor sessions (around 2:00pm) – Visits to legislators for late arriving participants (GAB)

Because they are going to be pushing for early passage of the Abortion-until-Birth Amendment 0ur chances to influence our state legislators will be limited, so we must be prepared! VSHL is delighted to once again be partnering with other organizations for the fourth annual Defending Life Day at the Capital in Richmond, January 29th, 2025.
We need you to be there in Richmond in person to meet with your own legislators to ask for their votes on the important pro-life bills we expect to be introduced this year, and against the pro-abortion bills — especially the Abortion-until-Birth Amendment to the Virginia Constitution. Virginia Pro-Life Day is your chance to witness to our elected officials about bills that matter to you and hundreds of other voters in their constituency. There is absolutely nothing more powerful that you can do to influence a legislator than to make the effort to meet with him or her in person while they are in session in Richmond.
